About
Author Patrick DeWitt appears at Topping & Company's Edinburgh event to discuss his new novel Dodge City, a road-trip story set in 1967.
Patrick DeWitt, Booker-shortlisted author of The Sisters Brothers, joins Topping & Company Booksellers to celebrate his latest novel Dodge City. The book follows Lee Clarke, a twenty-three-year-old who, after receiving his draft notice for the Vietnam War, sets off on an amphetamine-fuelled cross-country drive toward the Canadian border, visiting family members in four towns along the way. Doors open at 6.30pm with the event starting at 7pm at Pilrig St. Paul's / LARCH on Leith Walk.
