About

A dramatic rock musical adaptation of the chess-themed story of Cold War champions.

Chess is a dramatic rock musical about chess champions caught in the crossfire of the Cold War. Set against political manipulation and espionage, the characters discover that love and personal loyalty are easily exploited when superpowers play for control. Written by ABBA songwriters Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, alongside lyricist Sir Tim Rice, it features iconic tracks like "One Night in Bangkok" and "I Know Him So Well".
