A free festive afternoon in Darlington's Market Square with live music and entertainment, culminating in the Christmas lights switch-on and a firework display.
Darlington Borough Council hosts its Christmas Lights Switch On in the Market Square, with free entertainment, live music and special guest appearances from 4pm. The lights are switched on at just before 5.30pm, followed by a firework display to welcome the festive season. An accessible viewing area is provided near the stage for wheelchair users and those with physical impairments.
