Westfield St James Quarter Christmas Light Switch On & Parade

A free festive parade and Christmas light switch-on at Register Square, hosted by Forth 1's Boogie and Arlene, with entertainment from 5pm.

Westfield St James Quarter marks the start of the festive season with a parade through the centre followed by entertainment in Register Square, including appearances from Santa and Mary Claus, cast members from the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh's A Christmas Carol, beatboxer Hobbit, dancers and live musicians. Forth 1 presenters Boogie and Arlene lead the Christmas light switch-on, after which they collect donated gifts for Cash for Kids Mission Christmas. The venue also serves as a donation point for gifts during the Christmas period.
