WWIFF | Quiet Heart | UK Premiere + QA session

The UK premiere of Peter Webber's short documentary A Quiet Heart, followed by a Q&A session, screens as part of the WWIFF 2026 short film competition.

The Women and the World International Film Festival presents the UK premiere of A Quiet Heart, a 19-minute British documentary short directed by Peter Webber. The film follows a successful woman who, at the peak of her career and ready to start a family, faces an impossible choice when doctors tell her she must lose her womb or lose her life. The screening is followed by a Q&A session and forms part of the festival's 2026 short film competition, which champions women working behind the camera. The event runs for 50 minutes at the Embassy of the Czech Republic, where valid photo ID is required for entry.
