The St Andrews Hackathon

A free one-day AI hackathon where participants use Lovable to build web apps, ending in pitches to a judging panel with prizes.

The University of St Andrews' first AI-powered buildathon invites participants to build and deploy web apps using Lovable, an AI platform that works from plain-English descriptions. No coding experience is required, and attendees can come solo or form teams of up to three, with teammates matched on the day. The day opens with a live Lovable demo, followed by several hours of building any useful website, app or tool. Teams submit live products, and shortlisted teams pitch for three minutes to a panel of founders, academics and industry judges, with prizes available.
