The Dave Betts Latin Jazz Collective - Live

Drummer Dave Betts leads his Latin jazz collective in a live set of Afro-Cuban and Brazilian grooves at Palladino's Jazz and Blues bar in Cardiff.

The Dave Betts Latin Jazz Collective performs live at Palladino's Jazz and Blues bar, with doors at 6:30pm and music from 8:30pm. British drummer, multi-percussionist and composer Dave Betts leads a horn-led ensemble playing jazz, Latin and funk material with an emphasis on Afro-Cuban and Brazilian grooves, strong melodies and explosive solos. Betts performs on a unique setup combining drum kit with Latin percussion and multiple pedals, allowing him to play four percussion parts simultaneously. His recorded output includes four studio albums and a live album from his Ronnie Scott's residency.
