The Jazz Defenders Live

The Jazz Defenders bring their hard bop soul-jazz quintet to Palladino's Jazz and Blues bar in Cardiff for a live evening show.

The Jazz Defenders, led by pianist George Cooper, perform original hard bop and soul jazz inspired by the Blue Note era, blending grooves, tight horn lines and funk, hip hop and cinematic influences. The lineup features Jake McMurchie on tenor sax, Quentin Collins on trumpet, Will Harris on bass and Ian Matthews on drums. Doors open at 6:30pm with music from 8:30pm; the show runs about two hours and is for ages 18 and over.
