Wex Experience Day: SONY Birds of Prey | Owls & Hawk Workshop & Photo Walk

A full-day bird of prey photography workshop at BB Falconry Centre near Derby, photographing owls and hawks with SONY kit to borrow.

Wex Photo Video and SONY host a six-hour bird of prey photography experience at BB Falconry Centre, Risley, on private farmland with barns, old machinery and a four-acre flying field. The morning covers static barn owl portraits around the farm, followed by a two-mile hawk walk across farmland to photograph birds in flight, then further static sessions with additional owl species. Lunch is included, SONY cameras and lenses (including the new 400mm and 600mm models) can be borrowed free of charge, and Wex specialists provide advice and feedback throughout. The day is suitable for photographers of all abilities.
