Red Kite Photography Workshop

A guided wildlife-photography workshop at Gigrin Farm, where Paul Way helps participants photograph red kites from the Big Tower Hide or the more sheltered Gateway Hide in colder months.

Spend an afternoon photographing red kites at Gigrin Farm. Workshop leader Paul Way offers guidance on camera settings and wildlife-photography techniques from the open-top Big Tower Hide; colder-month sessions use the more sheltered Gateway Hide. Bring a DSLR or mirrorless camera, ideally with a 300–500 mm lens; a wide-angle lens, tripod, spare batteries and memory cards may also be useful. Wear natural colours and bring warm, waterproof clothing for the open hide. Check the time with Gigrin before booking.
