Guided Walk – River Chess from Chenies Manor

A free two-hour guided walk along the River Chess from Chenies Manor, viewing river restoration work and ending at The Red Lion with a wildlife photo exhibition.

A free two-hour guided walk organised by the River Chess Association, meeting in the Chenies Manor car park at 10am. Participants will see river restoration work in progress between Chenies and Latimer on the main river and some of its tributaries. The walk returns to The Red Lion, Chenies, where a young local photographer has a small exhibition of wildlife pictures, particularly of owls and kingfishers. No booking is required.
