Jack Moyse: A Sorry State
About
A photography, installation, sculpture and performance exhibition by Jack Moyse challenging narratives around the UK welfare state.
Jack Moyse's A Sorry State examines the failures of the welfare state and the vilification of those who depend on it, centring the endurance of people reliant on state support. Produced with individuals with lived experience of disability, the show combines photography, installation, sculpture and performance, drawing on testimonials about welfare in Wales today. A public preview takes place on Thursday 1 October from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and throughout the exhibition Ffotogallery will be trialling new accessibility materials and inviting visitor feedback.
