Bookbinding Workshop

A hands-on workshop with bookbinder Delphine Ruston where participants make two books to take home.

Led by local bookbinder Delphine Ruston, this three-hour workshop introduces the craft of bookbinding, whose basic principles have remained similar across traditions from ancient China to Islamic and European leather-bound books. Participants make two books to take away: a 3-hole pamphlet (chap book) and a single-section hardback notebook, using simple materials, tools and skills. No prior experience is mentioned as required.
