Felted Friends Wellbeing Workshop

A free needle-felting wellbeing workshop with Ribble Valley Felted Friends, part of a series raising awareness of Cauda Equina Syndrome.

Organised by the Cauda Equina Champions Charity, this hands-on workshop teaches the fundamentals of needle felting while promoting creative wellbeing and awareness of Cauda Equina Syndrome. Participants create a wool sculpture of "Mitton the Mouse" on a pipe cleaner armature, adding texture, facial features and the option of a small fabric outfit. The day includes refreshments, lunch and social connection, with one-to-one support, adapted equipment and regular breaks to make the session accessible to all. It ends with a group reflection and care advice for the finished creations.
