YorKAOS: October Half-Term Art Competition

A half-term art competition for children run by Spark and YorKAOS, with entries judged and exhibited on site in aid of charity Door84.

Spark and YorKAOS are hosting an October half-term art competition for kids and young creators, ahead of the main YorKAOS week of events in February 2027. Children can submit work in four categories: Halloween-themed art, drawing, mixed media and photography (A4 or smaller), with a £3 fee per piece and a maximum of two entries per child. Submissions can be handed in between Monday 26 October from 12pm and Friday 30 October by 3pm, with judging on Friday afternoon, an exhibition opening in SHOW & WORK from 5pm and winners announced at 5:30pm. Artwork stays on display over the weekend and can be collected on Tuesday 3 November; all entry fees go to YorKAOS's chosen charity, Door84.
