About
A free drop-in half-term archaeology detective activity exploring the Lexden Lady exhibition at the Roman Circus Visitor Centre.
Children can explore the Lexden Lady exhibition, hunt for clues among the displays and complete an archaeology quiz to uncover the secrets of the Lexden Lady. The activity shows how archaeologists use objects, scientific evidence and careful observation to reveal stories hidden for centuries, introducing young visitors to Colchester's Roman past. It runs from 11 am to 3 pm with no booking required, and visitors should note that human remains are on display.
