Campfire Stories: Dreckly the Drop's Adventure from Tor to Shore
About
An outdoor family afternoon of campfire storytelling, a self-guided story trail and nature play at Acorn Camping & Glamping in the Luxulyan Valley.
Cornwall Wildlife Trust and Acorn Adventures CIC host an afternoon of campfire storytelling and outdoor family activities. Families gather around the campfire for readings of Dreckly the Drop's Adventure from Tor to Shore, a children's story written and illustrated by local illustrator Ebony Underwood, following a water droplet's journey from St Austell Bay to Helman Tor and back to the sea. Booked campfire story sessions run at 13:30, 14:30 and 15:30, and throughout the afternoon families can also enjoy a self-guided story trail, outdoor colouring and nature-inspired free play. The event is aimed particularly at younger primary-aged children, with s'mores and hot drinks provided.
