Family Fungi Quest After Dark | A Glowing Night-Time Nature Adventure

This family-friendly night-time adventure invites participants to explore Heligan's gardens, woodlands and meadows after sunset with an expert guide. Armed with UV torches, visitors look for fungi, lichens and tiny creatures that reveal unexpected colours under ultraviolet light. The event meets at the Hollow by the Ticket Office, and attendees are advised to wear sturdy waterproof footwear and long sleeves as the route may be muddy and pass through undergrowth. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and guests may bring binoculars, a torch, snacks and drinks.
