About
Monthly youth volunteer sessions at Staveley Woodlands, with practical conservation work including coppicing, walling, path repairs and tree planting.
The sessions support conservation at Staveley Woodlands Nature Reserve. Activities vary and can include coppicing, walling, surveying, sculpture building, footpath repairs, tree planting and other reserve features. The published meeting point is the Craggy Woods gateway. The reserve is steep and slippery in places; sturdy footwear is required. Tools and safety equipment are provided, and participants should bring refreshments and dress for the weather.
