Set Sail for Story Time
About
A family story-and-play series aboard HMS Trincomalee, with rotating adventures about imagination, marine pollution and star navigation.
The October story follows Augustine and Ratty through a seaside adventure about trying something new, using movement, sounds, storytelling and paper-boat making. In November, the pair investigate what happened to Stanley and how plastic pollution affects marine life. The February story explores meteors, stars and the way sailors navigate by the night sky. Each date has story readings aboard HMS Trincomalee at 11:00, 12:00 and 13:00. The pages list an 11:00–14:00 programme, with hands-on activities in Trinc Cabin during that window. Theatre Space North East is named as a project partner.
