Twilight Tours: Behind the Scenes at The Hunterian
About
A curator-led twilight tour offering behind-the-scenes access to Hunterian collection objects and artworks not on public display, at Kelvin Hall's Collections Centre.
The Hunterian's Twilight Tours take place every other month on the first Wednesday, led by curators in the Collections Centre at Kelvin Hall. Each tour explores a different topic and area of the collection, such as geology, coins and medals or Scottish printmaking, focusing on objects and artworks not currently on public display. The theme for the 9 December 2026 session has not yet been announced. The tour runs from 17:15 to 18:00, with bags and coats stored in free lockers as food and drink are not allowed in the Collections Centre.
