Timestretch Alarmsong + Ready Reckoner + Dwoh

First night of Charles Hayward's two-day residency at Cafe OTO, featuring Timestretch Alarmsong, Ready Reckoner and Dwoh with a rotating cast of London experimental and improvised musicians.

This is the opening night of drummer and composer Charles Hayward's two-night residency at Cafe OTO. The programme features Timestretch Alarmsong — a sequence of 'tunes and sound snakes' first presented at The Albany in 2019, returning in revised form with a new line-up — alongside the smaller groupings Ready Reckoner and Dwoh. The residency revisits compositions that change with each performance and pairs Hayward with younger London improvisers as well as less familiar collaborators, with the second night devoted to Fraction Infinity, Encounter and Shuffle Tingo Skiffle.
