About
The UK Jewish Film Festival presents Mike Doyle’s UK-premiere feature Bookends, preceded by Alex Eisenberg’s short Purvette.
In Bookends, aspiring writer Nate moves in with his grandparents after a break-up and begins a relationship while his grandfather shows signs of cognitive decline. The programme opens with Purvette, Alex Eisenberg’s 2024 short portrait of London DJ and drag-show pioneer Jo Purvis. The festival bills the two films together as a UK premiere.
