About
A drop-in half-term family activity where visitors explore story ingredients and add their own creative ideas to a giant touring storybook.
The Story That Moves is a giant storybook installation touring the nation as part of the National Year of Reading. Families drop in during October half term to explore what makes a great story, then invent their own characters, places, problems and endings in a colourful self-guided creative activity. Visitors' ideas are added to the mix, with the chance to become part of the story itself. The activity runs 14.00–16.30 and is free with a Galleries ticket.
