ART BUFFET: Crack the Code

A drop-in half-term art table invites visitors to make ciphers, decode messages and experiment with patterns and creative challenges.

During October half term, this Art Buffet offers hands-on creative challenges inspired by the Alan Turing exhibition. Visitors can decode a secret message, make a cipher, experiment with repeating patterns or follow curious instructions using pens, paper, colour and shapes. The activity is drop-in, with no single right answer, and is suitable for families and curious minds of all ages. Published sessions run Monday to Friday, 26–30 October, 10:00–15:00.
