Diwali Lights

A Diwali celebration concert of live music, dance and choirs at The Bridgewater Hall.

Diwali Lights is an evening concert celebrating the Festival of Lights, combining live music, expressive dance and choral performance. Under artistic director-conductor Dr Rakesh Joshi, Raga Symphony shares the stage with Ramayan dances accompanied by live music, bringing storytelling and movement to the festivities. The programme features the Indian adult choir Bharatiya Vrund Gaan, the Indian youth choir SHIVA and the Hallé Youth Choir. The concert runs from 7.00pm to approximately 9.15pm and welcomes both those familiar with Diwali and first-time attendees.
