Meet the Monsters – Family Tour

A free family-friendly guided walk around the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs with palaeontologist Dr Cassius Morrison this Halloween.

Palaeontologist Dr Cassius Morrison leads a family-friendly guided walk around the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs, exploring the stories behind the famous sculptures and how the park became the birthplace of DinoMania in the 1850s. The walk considers questions such as whether seasons existed during the Age of the Dinosaurs and what the fossil record reveals about biodiversity and extinction. Following the recent restoration of the sculptures, the tour lasts up to 1.5 hours, starts at the Hylaeosaurus Head near the park farm, and is suitable for ages 10+ with younger children welcome.
