Great Grimsby’s Christmas Festival 2026

A free family Christmas festival in Grimsby town centre with live music, a market, a light parade, tree lighting and a headline set from The Rumble Band.

Great Grimsby’s Christmas Festival takes place on Saturday 28 November across Grimsby town centre, running from 12pm to 7pm. The Main Stage in St James Square hosts live music, choirs and solo artists all afternoon, while the Merry Makers Market offers handmade gifts and seasonal treats from more than 30 local traders. A Nordic Viking-themed Christmas Parade with a willow lantern longboat processes through the town, followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting at approximately 5.45pm and a headline performance from the 13-piece soul and Motown band The Rumble Band. Every part of the festival is free to attend.
