Christmas Lights Festival

A free family festival in Gainsborough's Market Place launching the festive season with fairground rides, stalls, street performers and live entertainment.

Gainsborough's Christmas Lights Festival fills Market Place with an afternoon and evening of family-friendly entertainment to mark the start of the festive season. Visitors can enjoy fairground rides such as swing boats, a helter skelter and a high striker, browse festive food, drink and gift stalls, and meet street performers including elves, angels and the Snow Lion, plus a walk-in snow globe for photos. Live entertainment comes from local bands, school groups and the cast of this year's Trinity Arts Centre pantomime, Beauty and the Beast.
