Skydive Day – March 2027

A charity tandem skydive at Netheravon raising money for Phyllis Tuckwell, with a £50 registration fee and £450 minimum sponsorship.

Participants take part in a tandem skydive with the Army Parachute Association at the UK's largest skydiving drop zone, between Salisbury and Marlborough. After training and being attached to an experienced tandem instructor, the aircraft climbs to 12,000 feet, where jumpers exit and freefall at over 120 miles per hour for approximately 7,000 feet. At 5,000 feet the instructor deploys the parachute canopy for a gentle five-minute descent to the landing zone. The event raises money for Phyllis Tuckwell.
