Potter’s Wheel Weekend Course
About
A two-day potter’s wheel course: throwing and experimenting on day one, then trimming, turning and decorating the work on day two.
Eastnor Pottery names studio potters Sarah Monk and Jon Williams as course hosts. This two-day wheel course has day one focused on throwing and experimenting with clay. On day two, participants refine and paint the pieces made on day one, practise trimming and turning, add handles and foot-rings, and apply colour. Each course day is published as 10:00–16:00, with lunch between 13:00 and 14:00; bring a packed lunch. Tea, fresh coffee and biscuits are provided. The listed £340 price is per person for both days of one weekend booking, not per day. The course includes firing, glazing and postage for 1–4 favourite pots, with the number depending on pot size. Additional pots can be fired for £10 per 250 g. Adults and young people aged 16 and over.
