Potter’s Wheel Day Course
About
A full-day potter’s wheel course with demonstrations, a five-step group introduction, individual tuition and practice at an individual wheel.
Eastnor Pottery names studio potters Sarah Monk and Jon Williams as course hosts. The course introduces wheel throwing with demonstrations and a five-step process; the page does not assign a named tutor to each date. Participants practise on their own wheel, develop at their own pace with individual tuition, and try larger pots and different shapes in the afternoon. The published day is 10:00–16:00; bring a packed lunch for the 13:00–14:00 lunch break. Tea, fresh coffee and biscuits are provided. Selected pots are fired, glazed and posted at no extra cost; extra pots can be fired at £10 per 250 g, payable on the day. Adults and young people aged 16 and over.
