POC-DOCS Presents: Everest – The Other Side

A documentary screening about ski mountaineers Jim Morrison and Hilaree Nelson's attempt to climb and ski Everest's North Face.

POC-DOCS presents a screening of Everest: The Other Side, directed and produced by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, the BAFTA and Academy Award-winning filmmakers behind Free Solo. The film follows elite ski mountaineers Jim Morrison and Hilaree Nelson, who fell in love at the peak of their sport and shared a dream of climbing and skiing the direct North Face of Everest — a route few have summited and no one has successfully skied. The screening starts at 7.30pm with doors at 7pm, and the film runs approximately 116 minutes (cert 12A TBC).
