Building Centre Film Club: 120 BPM (Beats Per Minute)
About
A special screening of Robin Campillo’s 120 BPM, introduced by AIDS activist and journalist Christophe Martet, connects film with the planned London AIDS Memorial.
The Building Centre Film Club presents Campillo’s 2017 French film about Act Up-Paris in the early 1990s. Christophe Martet, an AIDS activist, journalist and author, will introduce the film; further speakers are to be announced. The programme is framed by the planned AIDS Memorial immediately outside the Building Centre and the continuing work of public remembrance. The published event runs from 18:30 to 21:30; the film’s stated runtime is 140 minutes and does not define the full programme end.
