Lunchtime Talk: Making Meanwhile Count

Jan Kattein Architects and Meanwhile Space discuss how temporary urban projects can create social value that lasts beyond their planned end.

The talk uses Blue House Yard, nearing its tenth anniversary, alongside other temporary-use projects and research to consider how meanwhile spaces shape neighbourhoods over time. Speakers Gabriel Warshafsky and Jen Storan will discuss how project impacts can be measured, who defines social value, and how lessons from temporary projects can inform longer-term regeneration. The published location is the Glass Room at The Building Centre.
