Wisrah C. V. da R. Celestino

A solo exhibition in which Wisrah C. V. da R. Celestino uses family-archive research to examine authorship, ownership and institutional structures.

For their first solo exhibition at a UK institution, the Berlin-based artist begins with a personal family archive and develops contractual propositions about labour and knowledge. Those propositions extend into the gallery’s architecture, employment arrangements and commissioning model, taking form through sound, documents and spatial interventions.
