About
Diane Severin Nguyen presents Powerless, a video installation filmed in the Bavarian Alps and viewed through surveillance, drone and body-worn cameras.
In this UK solo exhibition, Nguyen presents a video installation following a child moving through an Alpine landscape as a helicopter circles overhead. Surveillance and body-worn footage, alongside an American folk band’s songs of rescue, bring family longing into tension with military vision and recruitment.
