Stirling: The Dark Side - Halloween Walking Tour

A 1.5-hour Halloween walking tour through Stirling's darker history, covering witch trials, plague, grave robbers and local ghost stories.

This guided walking tour explores the sinister side of Stirling's past, from witch trials and deadly plague outbreaks to grave robbing and unsolved murders. Participants visit Holy Rude Cemetery and hear tales of grave robbers, the notorious Baird and Hardie, and the legendary Green Lady, blending documented history with local folklore. The 1.5-hour tour runs twice nightly at 6:30pm and 8:30pm from 29th October to 1st November 2026, meeting at Stirling Gate House; it is for adults aged 16+ and dogs are welcome.
