About

A two-day British Library course teaches pamphlet sewing and multi-section case binding.

Across two days, participants make two single-section books and prepare a multi-section book before binding a hard-back case. Bookbinder and printmaker Shelagh McCarthy leads the course; all materials are provided and no previous experience is required. Saturday starts outside the Harry M Weinrebe Learning Centre on the lower ground floor. On Sunday, participants meet at Gate 5 on Midland Road for escorted entry.
