Besom Broom Workshop

A one-hour hands-on workshop for adults making a traditional besom broom from sustainably harvested materials at Beacon Country Park.

Participants use a range of tools and sustainably managed, harvested materials to make their own besom broom — the rounded twig broom traditionally associated with folklore and witches. The finished broom is suitable for sweeping outdoor areas, rituals or Halloween costumes. The workshop lasts one hour, with four time slots available during the day, and is open only to those aged 18 or over.
