Hedgerow Wreath Making Workshop
About
A two-hour workshop at Butser Ancient Farm where participants craft a natural hedgerow Christmas or Yule wreath with foraged materials.
Led by heritage craftsperson Kat Wootton, this two-hour workshop in the farm's Saxon meadhall teaches participants to make a Christmas or Yule wreath using natural and foraged materials from the local countryside. Attendees work with locally-grown greenery such as clematis, holly and ivy, decorating with berries, pinecones and other green materials. The session includes a break for refreshments with a winter warmer dram of mead, and all materials are provided. It is intended for adults and suitable for ages 16+, with under-18s accompanied by an adult.
