About

A practical introduction to letterpress printing uses metal and wood type, image plates and a proofing press to produce a small hand-printed edition.

Participants work with type and relief image surfaces, moving from press orientation to setting and printing. The session ends with a small handmade run, and introduces the equipment used for further letterpress practice.
