In the Country of Arthur and Merlin / Yng Nghynefin Arthur a Myrddin

An evening of Arthurian and Merlin stories, songs and poetry at the Dragon Theatre, opening the venue's Merlin weekend.

Mair Tomos Ifans shares stories rooted in the local landscape, Gwilym Morus Baird recites poems in Middle Welsh alongside contemporary songs, and Claire Mace tells Arthurian stories from the Welsh tradition. The evening opens the theatre's Merlin weekend, three days of hearing and discussing the ancient tales of the Arthurian landscape, but can be attended on its own. The event is held mainly in English with some Welsh recitation and songs, and is aimed at adults with young people aged 11+ welcome.
