Punch

James Graham's acclaimed play about Jacob Dunne's true story of a fatal one-punch assault and its aftermath runs for one week at Birmingham Rep.

Adapted by James Graham from Jacob Dunne's book Right from Wrong, Punch tells the true story of a Nottingham teenager whose impulsive punch on a night out proved fatal, and of the transformative meeting he later has with the victim's parents, Joan and David. Directed by Adam Penford, the production follows sold-out runs at Nottingham Playhouse and the Young Vic and openings on Broadway and in the West End. The play runs approximately 2 hours 26 minutes including an interval and is recommended for ages 12+. Audio described and captioned performances are available during the week.
