About

A small duckling sets out to find somewhere to belong after the farm’s pecking order turns against them. This festive family adaptation follows that journey through the seasons.

Katherine Chandler adapts Hans Christian Andersen’s story for Birmingham Rep, directed by Caroline Wilkes. The production is aimed at children aged 3–6 and their families. Audio-described: 10 January at 3pm, with a free bookable touch tour at 1:30pm; BSL-interpreted: 2 January at 3pm; captioned: 17 December at 11am and 1:45pm; relaxed: 9 January at 10am. A free 30-minute pre-show storytelling activity is offered on selected performances, including 5, 19 and 22 December.
