People's Emergency Briefing • Betchworth

A free community screening of the People's Emergency Briefing film on climate change, followed by an open discussion at Betchworth Village Hall.

This evening event screens the People's Emergency Briefing, a 50-minute film featuring nine UK scientists and experts presenting the latest evidence on climate change and its implications for food security, health and the cost of living. The film is based on a briefing held for MPs and journalists in Westminster and includes reactions from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden and Jennifer Saunders. After the screening, an open discussion explores practical actions individuals and the community can take to mitigate climate change and protect the environment. The event is hosted by Betchworth Parish Council with Re-Betchworth and the 4Bs Biodiversity Group, and is open to all aged 16 and over.
