People's Emergency Briefing – Peacehaven
About
A free screening of the 50-minute People's Emergency Briefing film on the climate and nature crisis, followed by a community discussion.
This free evening event screens the People's Emergency Briefing, a 50-minute film featuring nine UK scientists and experts presenting the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis and its implications for health, extreme weather, food security, cost of living and national security. The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster and includes appearances from Chris Packham and Deborah Meaden. Doors open at 6.30pm with refreshments, the programme starts at 7pm, and after the screening there will be a discussion about what it means for the local community. The event is sponsored by Ouse Valley Climate Action and hosted by Peacehaven Community Orchard.
