Scripted Tools, Unscripted Play – Kathleen Rinaldi/Joseph Rinaldi: Workshop
About
An improv workshop led by Kathleen and Joseph Rinaldi exploring how scripted acting techniques can bring emotional depth and intention to improvised theatre.
This workshop, inspired by the improv duo ImprompTwo's signature style, examines the overlap between scripted acting techniques and improvisational theatre. Participants work on theatrical storytelling, character work and ensemble awareness to create improvised scenes with subtext, intention and emotional depth. The session is aimed at improvisers willing to take emotional risks, and is led by founding ImprompTwo members Kathleen Rinaldi, a playwright and educator, and Joseph Rinaldi, a SAG/AFTRA/AEA actor.
