Role of the Children’s Reporter including mock hearing

A full-day training session on the role of the Children's Reporter in the Children's Hearing System, ending with a mock hearing.

This full-day training session, run by Protecting People Angus, explains the role of the Children's Reporter from referral and investigation through to drafting the statement of grounds. It covers the reporter's role in both hearings and court, clarifies roles and responsibilities across agencies, and supports confident, appropriate referrals. Participants finish by taking part in a mock hearing to apply what they have learned.
