Community gardening with the Friends of the Walled Garden

Volunteers of all ages help maintain the scented Walled Garden in Ravenscourt Park through practical gardening; children join with an adult.

No gardening experience is needed. The group digs, weeds, prunes, transplants and tidies the garden, with advice available from George, a retired head gardener. Volunteers can join for part or all of the session. The Friends ask newcomers to contact Angela before coming. Bring gloves and your own tools if available, plus water or a hot drink; the group also provides larger garden tools.
